Photo session

I am not a photographer by any means. But I had an idea in mind and I wanted to try it. So I took several pictures of this little one with the tutu that I made.

Little girl

Oh I just couldn't get over how cute this little one is. She stole my heart.

Blessing day

Mckenzie Katherine Kelley was blessed in church today. Mom made the blessing dress out of left over flower girl dress material from their wedding last year. She did so good and she looked so cute in the outfit. Dad ended up doing the blessing and Pres. Humpherys came up to be a part of it too.

UNC peeps

Yesterday and today were spent with UNC peeps that I had to see while in town. I came to the hospital yesterday during dayshift and saw a few people that I was glad they were there and then went back for night shift to see more and drop off cookies. It was good to see them and it felt like I went back home for a brief time. This is the place that taught me everything I know, this was the place I transitioned from being a student to being a nurse.
This morning I met up with a few more people for breakfast before heading south. These are the people that will always be family no matter what path life takes us on.
Plus I finally got to meet Tristan for the first time, such a handsome little guy.

Johnson family

One of the first things to do was to hang out with the Johnson clan. They were a priority and they got a full day and they should have had more but it was so good to see them all. E has gotten to be quite the talker and S is so big! Oh I just love them to pieces!!

Packing

When staying up for my night shift tonight I started and got most of my packing done. Leaving tomorrow after work. Heading back east for a whirlwind week ahead of me!

The mouse

Cruise documents came in the mail today. Sailing with the mouse. Very excited!! Going to be on a boat with Disney characters for a week and getting to cross off another state. One more to go after this.

Niece

Oh she could not be any cuter!!

Summer is here

I'm not in my car a lot during the day usually being on night shifts for the past 8 months or so. But oh was my car hot today getting in to go to work. It hasn't really been over 100 degrees at all this summer which is weird. But it was definitely so today and it felt like it.

Kenzie

Being the aunt that lives the farthest away is hard sometimes. But at least I get updates on this little one often. She is just so dang cute!

Independence Day

Happy 4th of July! I have worked this holiday every year since becoming a nurse and I don't mind it at all. First of all I get holiday pay and second, I get great views of the firework displays all across the valley. It was a wonderful sight.

Interview part 2

Tonight before going into work I had my interview for the charge nurse position at the hospital that I currently work for. I feel as though I have enough experience to take the position, I just don't know if it's a position I truly want. But for the first time in a long while I was able to dress up in what is classified as normal work attire. It was kinda fun.

July 1

It's finally July!! It's finally the month were I'll be heading back east and seeing Jennifer again. Haven't seen her in forever. Very excited. Even took a picture to document it.
