Independence Day

Happy 4th of July! I have worked this holiday every year since becoming a nurse and I don't mind it at all. First of all I get holiday pay and second, I get great views of the firework displays all across the valley. It was a wonderful sight.

Interview part 2

Tonight before going into work I had my interview for the charge nurse position at the hospital that I currently work for. I feel as though I have enough experience to take the position, I just don't know if it's a position I truly want. But for the first time in a long while I was able to dress up in what is classified as normal work attire. It was kinda fun.

July 1

It's finally July!! It's finally the month were I'll be heading back east and seeing Jennifer again. Haven't seen her in forever. Very excited. Even took a picture to document it.

Rexburg Roommate Reunion

After living in the same state as most of these girls we decided to get together for lunch one afternoon. It was so fun to catch up on each other's lives and all that. I don't think I had seen Linds since I left Rexburg and I hadn't seen Jess since I left Utah a couple of years ago. I'm so glad we have kept in touch- we should do it more often. :)

Interview

Interviews no matter how much I know that I'm qualified for it scare me to death. Maybe one day they won't. But today was not that day.

Fairy Tale 5k

I never pass up an opportunity to dress up as a princess. Thanksgiving Point had their inaugural Fairy Tale 5k through the gardens. It was a beautiful run with wonderful scenery. They could have had better paths and more water stations but it was alright. Glad I was able to do it after not running for a week and a half or so. We dressed up as princesses, I of course went as Cinderella.

Raelyn

Tonight I went down to see Char, Steven, Raelyn and Sam. We had an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. I love getting together with them every so often for Sunday dinners. I'll miss Char this next couple of months as they head down to Houston for the summer!!
